Thank you for choosing Discovery Coast Football Club!
We are now a fully-fledged, Football Queensland affiliated Football club. Which means once you and /or your child is a member, you will be fully insured whilst participating in any of the club programs and competitions.
Our plan for 2026 is to raise awareness and get as many players as possible playing to spread the football love as far and as wide as we can.
As this is our first year, and we are uncertain of player numbers at this stage, we will not be entering an existing FQ competition, instead we will focus on building our player base with the intention of setting up some internal teams to play against each other in terms 2 and/or 3 of this year.
Hopefully over 2026 we will develop an adequate player base to allow us to enter teams in the Gladstone or Bundy competition next year, however we will maintain the Social Football and interclub team leagues if members would prefer.
We will be running our Social Football and Skills programs in all 4 school terms and provide as much on the ball player time as possible.
Registration will remain open all year round to help encourage new players and continue to grow as a club.
We have been working closely with local businesses to raise funds for equipment so that we can keep the membership costs as low as possible.
Our prices for the year are as follows. Please note these prices are for the full calendar year NOT per term.
Social Football Only (Sunday Afternoons)
Under 9’s – 2:15pm – 3:00pm
9+ 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Social Football plus Skills Training (Sunday and Wednesday Afternoons)

Seniors Social Memberships
We have also created a Seniors Social Memberships for any adults who would like to join the club as players and play socially.
Any senior player activities will need to be organised separately by participants themselves. Because of this limited involvement from the club, we have been able to keep these memberships as low as possible, noting they still include insurance.

The Registration Process
If you are looking to register it is a 3-step process
Step 1. – Register with Football Australia
- Go here: https://playfootball.com.au/home
- Choose re-register if you have previously registered or click ‘New to Football’
- Find our club by postcode, click on the map icon and click through to the club by clicking ‘find out more’
- Once on the club page click ‘register now’
- Remember at this stage you are registering your details not your child’s
- Now either sign in if previously registered or click ‘don’t have an account yet’
- Follow the registration process, once registered and you are on your account page, scroll to the bottom and click ‘manage my registration’
- In your account page click on Profile in the bottom left and then ‘create my participant record’ in the bottom right
- Follow the process through to register yourself (again this is you not your child)
- Once complete you need to ‘find a product’
- Choose to search by ‘organisation’ type in ‘Discovery’ and hit search, then you should see all of our programs
- Click on the appropriate age group for you child
- Once you are in the correct product you can click ‘register’ in the bottom left to now register your child.
- Click ‘register for someone else’ – follow the onscreen process
- Then follow the process through to the payment page, payment amount is $0.00
- Then click submit registration
Step 2. Register on Squadi (you will need access to a photo of you and your child(ren) to upload to the profile)
- Goto – https://registration.squadi.com/login
- Create user profile or login to your existing account
- Click on ‘New Participant Registration’
- Then ‘Registering for a family member’
- Then follow the onscreen process to register your child as the participant
- Once registered participant details, click next and you will need taken to the find a competition page
- Search for ‘Discovery Coast FC’ and select the relevant program for you child
- Complete the online process
- Once you reach the payment page if you have a ‘PLAY ON’ Voucher click + Government Voucher and add your code. This will reduce the payment amount to zero but you still have to continue through the payment process to finalise the registration
- If you don’t have a voucher click continue to payment and complete the payment details.
Step 3.
